Guest guest
I saw your message to Sue and I think it is time you fought for your pump. If the doc here wont do it then by all means find one who will. Imagine how wonderful it would be to have by sept with all the goings on you will have. To not worry about your bs would be a godsend. I just dont understand your doc, of all poeple, you should have the pump. sounds like a real stand up kind of guy. Most men shrink during wedding plans but he just jumped up and is dealing with the caterers, I'm impressed. He must be a wonderful young man. What do the to of them do for a living? Where will they make their home? should be well care for by such a fine young man. That must be a good feeling. I slept so well last night after our long walk on the beach. We stopped at a nice deli and got some sandwiches on the way home and had a really nice time. My pain was very minimal and I even ate part of the sandwich and it was sooo good. I didn't get sick one bit. I cant beleive this but Hiedi, I do believe I am getting well. As well as I can. I'm am going to have to ask the doc how long this will last, because I almost feel like my old self again. My eyes water at the thought of being free, even if it is just for a few years. OHHH I just dont want to gain weight. Will worry about that later. Well we were going to the beach this morning, but it rained and poured, which is good. We will get up early and go tomorrow. I love the beach and am ususally quite tanned by this time of year. I'm kinda dark so I tan well. Probably too old for all that, but being the old dog and all There is one other thing besides the pump. You could have a total with ICT from some body else cells. Has anybody talked with you about that. Dr. , she new, has gone to the IRB at MUSC to get the tp/ict program started. She was in Cinci the week before I was working with the micro surgeon who removes the cells. Its not the surgeon who does the procedure its the microsurgeon and the cell gadget that is needed. Anyway, they will also be able to isolate cells for cadaverous donors. You would then be on rejection meds though. I wonder if a family memeber can donate some. It is such a new area, I'm sure there are many things about it that are still unknown. Well I've finished my coffee, I still cant beleive I slept almost 10 hours uninterrupeted, feels so good. I cant remember the last time. I think I'll have some honey do's for Billy today and cook out this afternoon. Then beach it bright and early tomorrow. Have a wonderful weekend Heidi and take care.
