Guest guest
Hi Carol and Kim, > > What brand of packaged spinach had E Coli?? > > > > Kim > > > Check your local newspaper. I am in Canada and they did not give specifics as we are not > affected. They have not listed a brand yet. They don't where the outbreak stems from (as of my posting) . What is known is that it is US grown fresh spinach. It does affect Canadians also if your bagged spinach is grown in the US. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is " is warning people not to eat fresh spinach imported from the United States. " I know that many of our produce does come from the US so **please** everyone who is using spinach read you label carefully to see where it is grown. Guest guest
Hi guys, I found this information regarding the spinach. Natural Selection Foods LLC said in a statement that it was cooperating with federal and state health officials to identify the source of the contamination and had stopped shipping all fresh spinach products. They are sold under the brand names Rave Spinach , Natural Selection Foods, Dole, Earthbound Farm, Trader Joe's, Ready Pac and Green Harvest. -Jill > > Hi Carol and Kim, > > > > What brand of packaged spinach had E Coli?? > > > > > > Kim > > > > > Check your local newspaper. It contains field greens and there may be baby spinach so i will contact them tomorrow. Carol F.
Guest guest
GC Good work. I truly believe that with a delicate digestive system, we should stay away from it at least for a while. Why take chances with your health.
