Guest guest
Hi , My name is Leila and we live in andria, VA. My daughter, Maysa, graduated from two DOC bands in May and is older than your daughter (19 months old). While playdates will probably not be ideal at this point, I just wanted to give you words of encouragements while your daughter gets treatment. We saw Amber From October 08 to May 09 and she was great. I know that she was about to have a baby when Maysa graduated so I don't know if she back to work yet. Either way, you are in good hands there. Good luck with the entire process and feel free to ask questions if you have any. I just joined this evening and my daughter, Paige (6 months) will be fit with her DOC Band tomorrow. I was wondering if there are any members who live in Woodbridge, VA or NOVA. I think it would be fun to have playdates for the babies and moms. Also has anyone ordered decorations from http://www.blingyou rband.blogspot. com/I look forward to reading the message board! Guest guest
Hi , I'm Amie and my son is Luke. He had the band from April '09 to June '09 (5 months old to 7 months). We saw Amber at Cranial as well and she is awesome. Unfortunately, I'm having insurance issues so I called Cranial about my appeal to find out that Amber had her baby in July and is out. We live in Mclean and though I'm super ticked about insurance, I was very pleased with Cranial. Anyhow, we do play dates all the time, even while he was in the band. It was like he never cared or even noticed the band on his head- he did great! It was funny some of the questions or comments I would get from people - like one (much older) man at the Giant in Mclean stated Luke was gearing up to take off for space (though he never asked about it). Given his age and his like for Luke, I thought it was cute. Most people would just ask me what is was and why he was wearing it. Anyhow, it's great to have another northern virginian on here! Good luck with the band- the results will be amazing! and though you might have to fight insurance like me with appealing, you will NOT regret making this decision Feel free to email me outside of the chat if you would like. Take care! amie & luke > > > From: <karenmclaughlin29@...> > Subject: New to the group! > Plagiocephaly > Date: Sunday, August 16, 2009, 9:01 PM > > > > > > > Hi everyone.
