thanks for your reply. It made me laugh, for the first time in

weeks too. I am feeling better today. I haven't had to rely on

pain meds, yet. I go through the same cycle as you too when I have

an ERCP. It doesn't matter what it is for, I always have extreme

pain after and have to be hospitalized for a couple of days. Then a

few days at home with pain meds and then I start to wean off them,

only to be hit with the pain again for a couple of weeks. I just

get impatient with the recovery process. I also like your " made-up "

word sphinctorized!! What a hoot!!! It's been 3 times for me so

far., and everytime is worse than the others. The stent that was

put in was a temporary one and was meant to pass along after a week

or so. It has been 3 weeks and they are still checking for the

stent. I think it has moved, but I will not know for sure for a

couple of days. Hope you have a pain free day.
