I'm 4 weeks post op with no loose stools since the week after surgery.

Unless of course I eat something with lots of fat. In which case, I

will have a " loose " trip or two to the restroom and then all is

normal again.

The runny diarrhea will go away within a couple of weeks, but you

will still have loose stools for awhile (the Citrucell will help

that and so will getting back on a more or less normal diet).

It will improve markedly by the 3 mos. mark so that your stools

start to be pretty close to normal, not loose, but more frequent.

You will still get the runs from anything high fat, though.
