Evening all,

I have a question to ask any of you that are diabetic. I am have been

very tired lately (despite nearly 9 1/2 hours of sleep a night)

because I have been having alot of pancreatic pain. Nothing to send me

to the doctor but enough pain to wear me out alittle. Also, I seem to

have to urinate alot BUT I am drinking heck of water. My right foot

seems to be cramping up alot too. Maybe I need more potasium.

Anyway, I have been checking my blood glucose levels on a regular

basis just because or just in case, and my fingers are hurting alot.

Some days I seem to be just fine BG wise. Other days about an hour

after eating my level is only 81 and I can't seem to get moving or

stay awake and at other times an hour after eating it has been as high

as 186. Are these signs and symptoms I need to be discussing with my

doctor? Or can the pancreatic pain and pain meds (darvocet and Zanax)

just be playing heck with me? I know these levels are within normal

range, it's just that my doctor told me my normal number was 116 so

this fluctuation kinda concerns me.

Perhaps all these things mean nothing, perhaps they mean something. I

don't know. I just know that to get an accurate non-medical opinion, I

needed to put out all the information possible.

I'm am sure it's possibly my diet or something. I am trying to keep a

log and make sure I leave adiquate time in between testing and food

intake. Also, can anyone tell me where else I can test besides my

sides of my fingers. I feel so bad for all of you that are diabetic

and testing on an everyday basis. This hurts! God bless you all and

all your fingers and test spots! :-)
