Hi e-mail buds,

I just wanted to let you guys know that I am headed north tomorrow to start

my new life. I can't wait to meet , Tracie, Dave and all in

person. I am very anxious (don't know how I am going to sleep between now and

Thursday).

Thank you all for posting all of your experiences and sharing your views. You

have helped me keep my head up during such an emotional time for me. I have

been wearing plus size clothes since the 3rd grade and I am ready to have a

significant change in my life. , thank you for sharing your " burning "

ceremony with me.

I was going to take a laptop with me while I was gone, but I am not going to

have one now. I won't be able to post or read any posts for at least a week.

I am going to have major withdrawals from you guys-you are my support team.

Please keep me in your prayers as I am very nervous and anxious. My biggest

fear is forgetting something or jinxing myself (that *!#@ 's Law

again!!!)

I will miss you and will be in touch to share my experiences with the rest of

you as you have so graciously done with me.

Hi, Terri. . . is bringing her laptop and I already have a list from

her of people she wants contacted, so bring along yours and I'll be glad to

post a few for you.

At the very least I can tell everyone how great you are doing! See you and

your husband Wednesday nite at dinner in Durham. We are so excited. . .time

is dragging for us both. I fly to Atlanta Wednesday morning from Miami and

we start driving to Durham right from the airport. Have a safe journey. . . .

Your right about the number. Its amazing how freeing it was to

actually write it and say it out loud. I must admit it was empowering

to know I'll be dancing soon though. Not sure I could have done it

without that knowledge.
