Guest guest
We are on day 6 of diet and this is what G is eating. I think I am finally doing it right and wanted clarification if not. Breakfast - ripe banana, 1/2 juice (Welchs) 1/2 water with small ckicken broth ice cubes (he refuses any eggs, pancakes etc i've tried) Snack- popcicle made with homemade yogurt, steamed fruit and zuchhni Lunch - 4 chicken nuggets (made:mayo, paprika, salt/pepper, fresh garlic), apple/pearsauce, cheese, 1/2 juice/water Snack- more cheese (or cheese crackers) and/or another popcicle Dinner- same as lunch Snack -steamed pear He seems a little hyper in the evening time lately and seems to be having a hard time falling asleep at night. Last night he slept with me and tossed and turned alot and at one point was hitting at what was close to him. Don't know what that means. I did give him a very crisp piece of bacon last night (no sugar, smoked). Maybe that set of the hitting in the middle of the night. He's having a small amount of pooh daily(maybe small because not eating as much?), but yesterday was formed, just dark grey. Other than my husband giving him the wrong applesauce yesterday (unsweeted kind from walmart, label says apples and water), we are doing OK I think. Hopefully the applesauce mix up won't mess us up too bad. thanks for any input on G's diet. Becky
Guest guest
Becky, Everything looks good, and of course, you're right that the little mishap with the WalMart applesauce is illegal. My thoughts on the small stools are that first, you say that he isn't eating a whole lot so he's absorbing most everything that he's consuming; second, he's just not eliminating everything from his body all at one time. The formed stool is a good sign though. He's not on any supps, right? If not, the hyper behavior could be die off, or perhaps even just him feeling better than he ever has before. Did he used to lay around a lot? I know that my 3yr. son who has a diagnosis of mild autism used to be very low key. He didn't play very hard. It was more like laying on the floor while looking at books kind of thing. He's very active now although I wouldn't call it hyper. Guest guest
Meleah His pooh last night, although small, was a pretty good one. However, today he had what i call runny mashed potato pooh. It was either the whole steamed pear he ate last night or the crispy bacon. He's eaten pears this whole time. The bacon is the only new thing I gave him. Won't give bacon for a while And will put the pears in the applesauce or just give him 1/2 steamed pear instead of whole. Or maybe neither mattered and we are beginning the die off stage??????? He's always been pretty active, he even stands up while watching his videos. I don't know what the extra activity means, we'll see how he is tonight. robin wrote: Becky, Everything looks good, and of course, you're right that the little mishap with the WalMart applesauce is illegal. Guest guest
I'd be suspicious of the bacon. A lot of beginners can't handle the high fat content of bacon. Yes, pull it out, and let's see if the stools firm up again. Meleah Diet clarification We are on day 6 of diet and this is what G is eating.
