Guest guest
I got a question: Don't the results have to be in the packet for you basic chem panel? If so, how can we besure that we'll get our appt. within 30 dys from the date we have the work done? So confused on this subject.. in fact confused most the time... Trudy :*( Re: Hey everyone!!! Cindy, I am 40 years old, 5'2 " tall and weigh somewhere around 280. I decided that this was the surgery for me and I am officially 5 days postop! I am at home (and yes Dr. R. does know), worked today (I work at home) and my kids were home from school too. I have had no nausea, no vomiting, etc. I am eating soup, crackers, yogurt, and drinking lots of juice with no problems. Getting my staples out tomorrow. As for the doctor - when I completed my packet I sent in a copy of my physical along with my most previous lab work. The EKG, CBC and BMP (basic chem panel) has to be done within 30 days of surgery so don't do that yet. I feel like this is the best decision I have made for myself in years - and yes I know there are risks but I feel the risks of having a BMI of 49 at age 40 outweighs any risk of surgery! Go for it - you're worth it! on MGB 10/04/00 > Hi all!! I had to come back.. I miss everyone :<( > I guess I am just as addicted to this list as I am to carbs, as I am quickly > finding out!
