Natalia,

You are truly blessed to have such a wonderful brother. My two daughters

have that kind of a relationship too.

When my Steph was in the hospital in June, and I took turns staying

overnight. We had pizza parties and video game wars. What fun. It is the

pits to be in the hospital for Christmas, but at least you will be together.

Bless you both.

Hope you get to go home soon. XOXO

My brother and I

My brother is the best. He sleeps here with me every night now, and

helps me wake up in the middle of the night for finger pricking and

temperature checks. He wakes up the moment I do and stays up with me

when I can't sleep. Then he leaves for the office (which thank god is

close) before 6am. Last week when I had my head down between my knees

due to the restless cough, head ache and fever, he rubbed my back and

told me that I inspired him, and I will never forget that. He's my

best friend.

I'll put a picture of and I up sometime after Christmas.

That is so wonderful Natalia! What a great brother to sleep at the hospital

with you! I am so impressed.. Is he single? (I'm not, plus much too old, but I

was thinking of some of our single girls here!!) I sincerely hope you are

feeling better and I'm very sorry you have to be in club med for Christmas.

love,

M

ok, now i have to introduce myself since i'm getting blind date invites:) i

have been reading the posts for a while, but haven't written before. i'm

natalia's older brother (28, 29 in 2 weeks). i would like to clear up some

things that natalia wrote in the " best brother email " , i'm not doing

anything that any warm-blooded person wouldn't do and natalia would do the

same and she would do this for a complete stranger, so let's not make me

some kind of martyr. i'll take the compliments, thanks sis and thanks to

everyone in the group for being very supportive of the situation. the whole

family really appreciates it, none more than natalia. as for me spending

the nites, i have and i leave at 6 or 7 in the morning, but i don't go

straight to work, i go home sleep for a bit and get into work around noon (i

have a flexible jbo so it's not a problem at all. so thanks to everyone and

merry christmas and happy new year

You just ripped off your angel wings! Don't sell yourself short, it would

be allot easier to just sleep in your own bed and go to work at regular

time. But you have gone the extra mile to be there with her when you can.

You are a good brother. The rewards are your relationship with your sister.

She is very lucky and so are you. Let's hope you will both be sleeping in

your own beds soon.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.

What a nice thing to say! So many times we don't appreciate the good in

life. Recently we were all taking about how CF is so depressing. Albeit it is

I

have met the most incredible company (present company INCLUDED).

I feel so much SMARTER and WISER. Sometimes I feel like I discovered the

mystery to life - as in " what are the most important things? " and NO ONE else in

the world has a CLUE.........I regret the way that I got here but I am here

like it or not!

I have a horrible fear of the dentist - I have bit him several times and

kicked him in his private area (he always tells me he should wear catchers gear

when I am coming). Well, I have this awful toothache...OMG.........

Christmas was nice.....I loved seeing my brothers, sister and niece and

nephew - what great kids!! Healthy as a horse.

Just my comments. I love the fact that Natalia and her brother are so close

- me and my brothers were like that - sometimes are - its just so hard now for

me to maintain close relationships.......although I know they would be hear

No - Angel wings still there! So many people care but will not sacrifice

TIME and with CF TIME is such a precious commodity. There is nothing like

having

someone rub your back when you puke or just feel like hell........

Natalia is very lucky - doesn't that sound funny???????????LOL I always

laugh when people say " you are so lucky to go to florida with make a wish " -

they don't mean and realize what they are saying..........

Natalia,

Your brother sounds like a real gem. He's the kind of guy that every

mother hopes that her daughter will marry.

Rosemary,

Have the kids gotten over the flu? It seems like almost every person I talk

to has either had it or knows someone who has it.

We have a guy who works for us that his 2 year old got it and the hospital

sent him home and told them not to bring him back unless his temperature

reaches 107 degrees F. He had the strain that went around last year. Hope

you are all doing ok!
