I hope that the flu shot had protects her !

As for her passing it on I guess it's always possible, but there

could be others there who could have been exposed too. I would

encourage you to do what feels right for you.

Barbara (who kept her daughters home from a family function many

years ago because they'd been exposed to chicken pox and was frowned

upon by MIL - until they both came down with it just over a week

later.)

,

Call your doc, tell him that she was exposed. My son got the flu, was

put on Tamiflu and it really helped. My oldest son was put on it for

preventative reasons and he never got it, being in the same house with his

brother - I was impressed. The cf docs here are doing it with all cf patients

that have been exposed.

I just found out that was probably exposed to the flu. My MIL and her

friend took and the friend's granddaughter out to look at the Chirstmas

lights and displays the other night. Now the friend's granddaughter, Jordan,

has the flu. seems fine now but I am worried because we saw one of her

cousins last night and will be seeing more of them tonight. I just hope that

didn't get it and we are not passing it to others. DID have the

flu shot so she probably will be ok, but I don't know if she could still pass it

on to the other kids. Anyone know? I am thinking about staying home from the

family thing tonight in case she has it but she seems fine.........advice?

suggestions?
