Guest guest
Take an epsom salts bath. If that doesn't help , you can use an activated charcoal. Your body seems to want to purge. You seem to be right on the edge. Hang in there for 1 more day and see what happens if you can. I know it's easy to say and hard to do but, I'm rooting for you! Jenn & K could this be a HUGE die-off? For the past week I've been so sick. Very achy and almost feel so sore its difficult to make it all the way upstairs. I tried to go on a walk and the nausea hit hard as well as my legs felt like I had been jogging instead of slowly walking. I feel nauseous almost to the point of throwing up on and off and very very tired. My constipation has been horrible (only 'going' with suppositories) and my stomach has been bloated continuously. Today I had a migraine. I NEVER get headaches like I had. It makes me a little scared. And I can't tell if its a virus that might be going around or serious die-off. I hope it ends soon b/c my work isn't going to put up with me calling in sick much longer. IBS-C 8 yrs, SCD 8 months. Probiotics and just started enzymes today. Guest guest
, The achiness sounds like die-off.... BUT..... I'm really concerned about the severe constipation. I'm wondering if you just have a whole lotta stool impacted way up in there. ?? Constipation and headaches seem to go hand and hand at times. But headache *can* be part of die-off, too. Are you taking a magnesium supplement? Mag citrate would help loosen your stool. I would take at least 500 mgs per day. Have you already done Elaine's constipation protocol? Patti could this be a HUGE die-off? For the past week I've been so sick. Very achy and almost feel so sore its difficult to make it all the way upstairs. Guest guest
Somewhere on the PecanBread website is Elaine's recipe for electrolytes. Try that for the constipation. It would also help balance pH so you don't feel so achy and sore. Putting Epsom salts and baking soda in the tub or in a footbath would help adjust pH. I have recently discovered mustard baths (www.drsingha.com) and that would help improve pH too. > > For the past week I've been so sick. Guest guest
I am going to try the electrolyte drink as well as take some mag. citrate tonight before bed. >>The achiness sounds like die-off.... BUT..... I'm really concerned about the severe constipation<< I was too. I had taken a suppository and it didn't work too well. And I had so much pain in my stomach so I went to emergency. Waited 6 hours!!! for him to tell me that I was badly constipated in one side of my bowel (other side was empty-weird) and to take laxatives for a few days. I told him it is chronic constipation so ya, I might go for the days I take the laxatives but then what? And he told me about fibre and eating carbohydrates and drinking fruit juice. It was a very silly conversation. He told me to take either Senna or durcolax (sp?) tonight. I'm not sure if I should because they are illegal..on the other hand I am in bad shape right now. Anyways I hope this passes really soon.
Guest guest
Patti, Yes I have done Elaine's constipation protocol. The prunes and juice make me more C and bloated unfortunately. Funny though, it worked in the beginning...

Are all fruits and veggies peeled and cooked? Have you started any new supplements or meds lately?
