Guest guest
If it says spice then I'd stay away from it. Different brands label their products differently. I'm sure that the one Carol uses does not say " spice " on the label. Costco also has one that is. With every store bought food, reading labels is A MUST. Carol F. SCD 6 years, celiac
Guest guest
I typically am very good about reading labels, something I've been doing for years becz of food allergies, GFCF etc. I found one today at the A & P that did not say spice, & also did not have nitrates; I was thrilled. You said you use that as bacon? Do you fry it up similar? Thanks, Michele > > > > I looked at the proscuitto (sp?) in the health food store yesterday & > > for ingredients it said " pork, salt, spice " . You might try adding a few drops of water to the pan. It can also be broiled. Carol F. SCD 6 years, celiac
