I've been approved BC/BS - Wisconsin

After sending my letter from Dr. R - BC/BS requested more

information.

They wanted me to have a psychological evaluation and see an

Endocrinologist as well as have a physical from my PCP. Well, I did

all this - received the letters and submitted them to BCBS. I waited

2 weeks and still did not hear anything from them.

So this afternoon I called and they gave me the good news. They will

pay for my surgery!!! I'm switching to BC/BS in October, so the

surgery will be after January 1, 2001. What a great way to celebrate

the REAL Millennium! I was so happy I started to cry on the phone.

The woman at BC/BS () was so happy for me as well. This is the

best thing that's happened to me in a very long long time.

I still have my packet to complete - but I'm one step closer to

being on the other side... How does that happy dance go??? I'll be

making the trip alone, so if any of you have done this and have

suggestions/tips/tricks, please feel free to email them to me.
