Guest guest
Fliss, yes, I am feeling better for having gotten out of the house for awhile and seeing someone I don't get to see very often. She and her family are friends to both me and my mother. Her age is in the middle between both of us and so she is friend to both of us. We usually visit her at least once a year, twice if we can. I hope my emails on the medic alert bracelets have been of some help and I hope you visit the site again. As for being distrated in asking questions, that happens to me alot too. I'll come in intending to ask about one thing and get side tracked on some other issue when we are talking. That's why I try and take a list with me when I can and check things off as I discuss them. This helps me keep somewhat on track. That's interesting that your doctor is advocating the TP. Most doctors seem to tell their patients that they should only do it as a last chance option. It probably has to do with your high cancer risk then. Hope you are having some pain free days. Kimber Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@... Guest guest
Chrissy, yeah, that recommendation letter may be interesting. Just make sure you read it first before you give it to anyone. I haven't had that good of a week. I, like Kris, have reinjured my back. When I was last in the hospital, I fell during a seizure and crushed the disk of one of my vertebra (part of a bone, not the cartilege pads between the vertabra) and I was coming home from a weekend at my friend's house. I had to take the subway to the Ferry because the bus system doesn't run on Sundays and even though all my overnight stuff was on a lugggage cart, my back (and my bursistis in both hips) didn't like the walk from the subway to the ferry. I was really sore that night, but when I woke up in the morning, I could barely move. I still cant' bend down or move too quickly. Plus, I've been having more pancreas pain then I have for awhile, so I've been on a lot of pain meds this week. Haven't done much of anything except some cross-stitch, which I can luckily do sitting down and my computer is a laptop. My vacations were all fun, though I'm not much of a picture taker so I don't have any pictures to show. But I did do a lot of shopping lol. Hope you are having a good day.
