Guest guest
Has anybody gotten long term relief from any kind of block. I am very interested to hear how these procedures turned out. Good or bad I would appreciate any information any of ya'll wouldl ike to share. I am very depressed and feel as though all my treatments have been unsucessful and that I have nothing to look foward to except more and more pain. Thanks
Guest guest
I have had every type of celiac plexus block known to mankind, done as an eus and thru the back thru the aorta, for me the only one that really helped for an extended period of time was the first one it lasted about 3 months and they were not completely pain fee months I think I still needed pain meds after work, and in the night, it has been a long time ago 1997, the ONLY thing that has really helped was an intrathecal morphine pump, now that has changed my life. I still have pain, especially when I first get up of a morning, but 1 600mcg Actiq takes care of it, not the 3 that it took pre-pump ( that was 3 in the mouth a one time) that was to be able to walk up right. I find my biggest problem is with activity limitations, I have always been a worker, I want to conquer the world, either by cleaning it, learning about it or something, I am not a sitter, to a fault for some reason, I get bored sitting and I don't know when to give in and call it over for a while, I go and go and go until I hurt so bad it is uncontrollable, when I finally do sit down I just think of all the things I could be doing. I guess it comes from being down for almost 4 years, and couldn't do anything. If you want more specific info on how the blocks were done, feel free to E-mail me and I will go further into it.
