Ok. I think I understand now. Mucoid is worse than non-mucoid and

much more difficult to treat.

I am going to ask my doctor about the possibility of Zach having the

PA in his digestive tract. I am not sure how that would present, be

tested for, or be treated but Zach has always had digestion problems

that enzymes do not seem to fix.

Do you know of anyone that has had PA in their intestines??

Sara Dawson; I do not myself know about PA in the in

testinal tract as such, but have had first hand experience

with it in my sinuses, leadiing to the resultant swallowing

of it, etc. We can all imagine the results! Love, n

The article listed several organs that could be infected with PA,

even the brain - scary.

Since the PA makes a slime coating to protect itself I thought maybe

the slime could be hindering digestion. I was also interested in

the references to elastase in the article. I do not think I

understood it correctly, but I thought it said the PA produces the

enzyme. If that is the case and Zach has PA in his intestines, then

his recent elastase test could be incorrect.

So much to think about.
