Hello Kurt,

I'm sorry your daughter is suffering from this disease. I have had

CP since childhood so I have special sympathy for youngsters dealing

with the problem.

I don't have personal experience of the surgery you're talking about

but I'm sure others who have will post some replies to help you.

I'm not very computer-literate but I'll now try to put in this

message a couple of hospital website addresses where you will get

information on the different surgical procedures. Hope it doesn't

go wrong!

These are two good sites. I hope I've done this correctly. I don't

understand why they haven't appeared in blue. Help! I'm sure

someone will tell me what I did wrong! Anyway, I have found them

very helpful. Here's another one from my own hospital in Liverpool,

Does anyone ever get really AT the disease? I'm sorry to start my

reply this way....but to think that a child would EVER have to

endure this is just beyond my comprehension. I am soooo sorry to

hear of your daughter.....prayers for all of you
