Guest guest
Well I already wrote you a long post this morning and no doubt as soon as I finish this it will post...lol. The Beger is a kinder gentler whipple so to speak. He will remove the bad part of my panc and leave the rest but will not remove the duodenum. The pancreas will be anastomised (is that a word??) to the jejunem. It should make receovery easier then a whipple. he and I had talked about doing awhipple but I felt, and still do, strongly that I would not handle it well. Woman's intuition. Theoretically it should work. By removing the sick part it will reduce the pressure on the rest of the organ, allowing it to drain, alleviate my pain and reduce the risks of further damage and put off a total for several years. I feel good about it, I think. I think it is my best chance as it stands now. Still dont know who sent the roses, its kind of funny because they were addressed to my physical address and we have alwaysed used a PO Box because we are so rural. I dont know where some body might have found that address (Google??) as we are not in the phone book. thanks for asking about me and your support, I really appreciate it. I hope and pray I am doing the right thing. I hope this gets posted too...lol I've kept you and in my prayers and wish there was some way I could help ya'll.
