I dont think the flowers came from that nice pilot, I sent him a

thank you card and a little note but the only address he had on me

is my PO Box. I live in a very rural area and the flowers were sent

to my physical address. It did not have my PO number anywhere on

the box. If you google me, my physical address will come up

though. They are such beautiful roses though, perfect; most people

would want to get credit for sending such a gift. My husband said

that maybe a card would be coming separately.

The Beger is a partial pancreaectomy without removing the duodenum.

Its a kinder gentler whipple so to speak. He will remove as much of

the organ that is needed when he gets in there. I kind of want

another ercp though, now thats odd! I just want some resolution to

all of this and hope that he takes all the bad parts out. Since it

will not have all the anastomosis that one would have with a whipple

is should be easier to heal after wards. I have had issues with the

whipple for some time and have told him that I dont want that and

feel that the recovery would not go well. Womans intuition, the

whipple just did not feel right and I just couldn't do it. I feel a

lot more comfortable with the Beger, well as comfortable as one can

be I suppose.

I hope things are going well for you and . Ithink about ya'll a

lot. Youhad mentioned getting your daughter a computer so that she

might join us on here. That would be great. Right now is thebest

time to buy one. Oddly enough the new models come out about now and

last years can be purchased pretty cheap. I just bought my daughter

a lap top for a combo 18th birthday and high school grad. It is a

newer model, but I was looking at some of the others and was

surprised at what you could get for $500, a complete system. Best

Buy, really has the best prices. But Walmart has a really good HP

complete system for the same price. Your grands would benefit from

having one as well. My eldest had to write a term paper and was

fussing amd complaining about all the research she had to do. She

NEVER once stepped foot in a library! Man I still have nightmares

about Dewey Decimal!
