hi

a little while ago someone, i think it was carol, posted a rough

estimation of the conversion of nut flour to nut butter in recipies.

ie if i want to make waffles, it calls for nut flour, but id like to

make them with nut butter first, any ideas anyone - i was wondering

if a 1/4 cup of nut butter was the same as 1/2 cup nut flour, that

kinda thing

thanks

Emma,

I think marilynn is the one to respond here.

I am a Startrek SCD cook. I go where no one has gone before in that I just dump

ingredients together when experimenting and don't always measure.

When using nut butter for waffles I think I add two heaping tablsepoons to one

egg.

With all my ranting about being scientific, I realize this is hardly scientific

but the results

are mostly good.

BTW:If you have a waffle iron with two compartments, dividing a single recipe in

half will

give you two smaller round waffles which look nice on the plate.
