Carol, I lost my voice for a month. My throat was really tight. It felt like vocal cords were straining or something. If i tried to force words to come out, it felt as if my neck was tightening up. As soon as i was put on an anti-inflammatory medication it helped and my voice came back. This was back in '97. I haven't had trouble with losing my anymore. I have a Trach, but i can still take well without my voice sounding distorted.

Just a quick question : I am losing my voice and am not really sick.
