Hi everyone,

We are changing insurance soon and I was wondering if anyone had

experience with the Federal Blue Cross Blue Shield program.

It has been difficult with an HMO to coordinate all of the necessary

care for Zach and I was hoping that the Fed BCBS program would have

more options as far as doctors and hospitals.

Thanks.

I have heard, but no personal experience , that the blues are pretty good.

We have some problems with them BUT being slow to reimburse. Each policy is

different. It depends on what your employer picks as the " do's & Don'ts of

each policy. They pick it .It is not that all are alike . RARELY, are any

two alike. So, check all the fine print & clarify with the Human resource

person, OR personnel dept where the policy holder works.

I wish I could give you a better answer. BUT we deal with each one daily &

trust me, they aren't alike. My granddaughter is on my sisters & it is blue

cross, etc too. It hasn't been too bad. Its for the county school system ,

so I am sure they picked many of the needed items for the teachers or they

would quit 7 they are hard to find, like nurses.........ANYWAY. good luck

with it. If you want our gals to check it out , call them at 1-

BUT you really can find out by going thru policy fine print

best wishes
