Starting DOC band treatment at 8 months ...

Hello! I am new to this group but hear it is THE PLACE to go to with any and

all questions re: plagiocephaly. My son was diagnosed with mild plagiocephaly

and moderate brachycephaly at 5 months old. We chose to do physical therapy as

well as cranial sacral therapy to see if we could avoid getting a helmet. While

we have gotten significant improvements, time is running out and I felt as if we

should move forward with the DOC band (my son will start wearing it in 2 weeks).

My fear is that I have waited too long and that we will no longer get the

correction I am looking for. Has anyone started band treatment at 8 months for

brachycephaly and seen decent results? Thanks so much for any responses! Happy
