Guest guest
(KC) Wow this is wonderful news. Glad you are able to go off the cytoxan. I hope you have great luck with the Imuran. I know I have! Wow and down to 2.5mg of pred a day. You must be in seventh heaven! I am thinking good thoughts that this will all continue to be good news for you! Thanks for giving everyone something to look forward to. RP is a pain but it can be controlled and you are proof of that! Lots of love Glenda
Guest guest
Glenda, thanks for the good thoughts. I seem to remember your words when I first found this group, and YOU said RP could be controlled and that you'd had it for 8 years and lived a pretty normal life. I thought, " Well, heck, I can do that! " So, thank you Glenda. You shined a light on my path back to good health just when I needed it. Now I'm researching all I can about Imuran. Mayo said it was safer than MTX to take with my Bactrim (for the WG). After the results of my last blood test I took before leaving, they will call me and my local Dr. about the dosage. How much do you take? With food? Any tips? Thanks again so much for the good thoughts and your inspiration to me and this group. Love you, my friend. (KC) > (KC) > Wow this is wonderful news.
