Guest guest
From what I have heard - remember each child " presents " different. I hate when Drs. throw that word in. Polps are a lifelong thing. My son was operated on in Feb. - found them again in July - ENT put him on Nasal AQ or QT - some nose spray w/ letters which I am too lazy to go look at. It shrunk. It was in the RIGHT side. Yesterday we went to the CF Center and guess who has polps in his LEFT side too? Go figure - he is 7...... My 10 yr. had polps and was operated on 2 yrs ago and nothing...knock wood! Although he had a fungal ball on his optic nerve - he was blinking like mad and spitting so I thought he had tourettes! I would see about nose spray and irrigation..........my son has big time sensory issues so I am kind of limited there. Sorry for rambling.............. Guest guest
Rosemary, I to have polyps in my nose. Apparently is a allergy thing not the sacs of mucus cfers get. I also have to use a spray to help. Haven't started it yet as I keep forgetting to collect the script. Guest guest
- you better feel it or they will be coming out your nose and people will think that they are those moles that people get at the bottom of their noses that turn black over time. Guest guest
POLYPS: At my advanced age, and having been a teen- ager in the fifties (yup!), the approach then was to RADIATE THOSE POLYPS! Well, it did WORK, and then pretty soon came the warning notices about the danger to the thyroid gland and resultant cancer of the thyroid, which to date I have not developed, but am monitored for monthly. You never know what stupid medical craze is going to be pop ular in what era! Anyway, sure was the last polyp that I ever experienced--they do NOT DO THAT ANYMORE! n, who did NOT regard the fifties as the " HAPPY DAYS! " Rojas5915@... and it surely is wonderful to finally see " cfparents " all over my incoming mail page!
