Guest guest
OH MY GOLLEE GEE!!! That was so much fun reading. I am still smiling . I can see you riding. I NEVER ride them. Did when younger either. I know. All my kids & their dad did. living her at Disney, etc & some of them working there. It was a regular thing .BUT----I still don't go !! (on rides that is:(just very mild type like merry go round (when younger :) Anyway. your whole adventure sounded delightful . I don't think the " full vacation " did her any hard. My gollee I bet those rides stirred as much if not more from her than all the clapping could ever do -hehehe. BUT , as you said. Just the break was GOOD MEDICINE as well. I am soooo happy for you all .. take care & get that laundry done-I have to go do mine now too Have a great week home -now too. ------we missed ya & cant wait to see the pictures Love & hugs, grandmomBEV BACK FROM OUR M.A.W TRIP Hi everyone, Eilish (and all of us) had a great week away. She meet the Rugrats as wished for. We met the Scooby Doo gang, who were much better with her than the rugrats to be truthful. She is a daredevil and loved all the roller coasters. The only ones she didn't go on were because of height restrictions. I was very proud of myself. I hate roller coasters, in fact anything that spins. But I made myself go on the Reptar roller coaster. It is a 'mild' ride to those in the know, but I was freaking out. Liam and I sat at the back, Eilish and were at the front. My BP must have been in the 100's. I even managed to open my eyes a few times LOL. The kids went on a Seal Safari yesterday, where they go with the trainer and learn to feed the seals, hug them etc. We have such great photo's, and if I can get this scanner working I will send a few. They were so spoilt we had trouble shutting our suitcases and we went with a almost empty one. Another highlight for Eilish and us was that we hardly did any physio whilst away. I can hear all the sighs now!!!!! This was her special time and we decided that bugger it, she is really well, let her be a 'normal' (I hate that word) child and spend the week with it apart from two times. She is very congested in her sinus but that is due to to much water up her nose from swimming in pools and beaches. and I thought we were living someone else's life as it felt so weird. All three of them have been asleep for a couple of hours, whilst I am sitting here waiting for another load of washing to finish, ahhh! back to reality. We went to great markets (much to Liam's disgust) but Eilish and I love markets. Found a lovely plaque for our recently deceased cat which the kids have put on her grave. It was a great time but also great to be home, although ask me that next week and I'll say a different story. (Australia)
