Guest guest Posted April 22, 2002 Report Share Posted April 22, 2002 Hi , got your message. I'm 54 and had my first major flare up in 79, then off and on for 4-5 yrs. Then it went into remisson for 15 yrs. in 4-99 I got transverse mylitis which is numbness from my hips down. At that time my Dr. thought it could be from my RP, in 2-00 SI had to go back in the hospital again and was told again he really thought it was RP I was told onlly a handful had this problem and it would be nice to find out what could happen.
