I just checked the Patient Education Manual -

you're right about no mention of restrictions in

eating the night before the surgery. All it says

is no food or drinking after midnight - and I sure

don't want to be awake after midnight (if I can

get to sleep at all the night before surgery). Is

anyone else on this list having surgery on 10/04?

- waiting in Chicago
