This allows the gastric secretions to drain DOWN and AWAY from the esophagus. This in turn, reduces acid reflux and esophagitis. It doesn't eliminate it - but it does reduce it. >> As an RN this is my thinking as well. I wrote yesterday and asked if I was right in this thinking.. but no one responded. Glad to hear you agree. Also, since you work in a center for GI Cancer.. what is the general consenses from the docotors there about the MGB?? Have you talked to them about it??
