Guest guest Posted December 28, 2003 Report Share Posted December 28, 2003 Hi to yall!OMG, do I need help with this one.Last night, aafter the usual 10 min of temper tantrums, Ty started to do his vest, abiut 5 min into it IT STOPPED!!!I think my medicaid bought it, or maybe crippled childrens (this was in Michigan before we moved down here).All I know is it cost $15,000, moneey we would NEVER have to replace the vest with.Is there someone that will come look at it at the " 800 " number they give, and if so will I have to pay?I havent hardly got enough $ to keep our head above water, so to speak, let alone dish any out for something else.He NEEDS that vest.We've beco e dependent on it.We've had it for about 4 yrs or so(i really dont remmber for sure) Any suggestions?I think Bev is still gone for vacation, :(.OMG, I dont even know how to do cpt by hand(sorry, i know thats pathetic in itself, effeectively anyway) H*E*L*P!!!! Either company will hook you up very quickly with a new vest, just contact them right away. They do not charge as they usually have a lifetime guarantee. Hope this helps! My Vest went Kapoot!! Guest guest Posted December 28, 2003 Report Share Posted December 28, 2003 Call the VEST company. They are wonderful. I had a problem and they SENT us a NEW MODEL!!!!!! No cost to us. Do not panic --- they will come through. I am assuming you checked all connections.....plugs, etc. Rosemary in NY with 3 children (13, 11 and 7) with CF.
