, Metho makes some people feel sick - not

everyone. I have felt slightly nauseous two or three

times the day after my dose (I am on 17.5, was on

20mg). That is over a three year period. On that day

I take 2mg folic acid instead of the one I take every

other day (Docs suggestion) and it seems to help. But

I felt so much better, I would not have cared about

feeling sick - it might suppress my appetite!!

Also , here is another thing you might want to

talk to your doctor about, as you have put weight on

with insulin. My doctor has put me on Meridia to help

with weight loss, and I am definitely eating less. I

am already taking less Glucophage although I am still

taking a little glyburide. (Only about one quarter of

a 2.5 mg tablet per day.) I think the main problem

with Meridia is it tends to raise blood pressure, so

if yours tends to get high he probably wouldn't

consider it, but it is a thought. I have also started

exercising a little again, now my thigh muscle is a

little less ferociously painful!!!

Take care, love Liz
