Guest guest
Hi Becky! I did want to add that my boys were on the diet for three months before I added any almond flour and they still really don't digest it well and I have taken them off of it again. But later in the diet as his body is able to digest almond flour, you can make excellent chicken nuggets, muffins, pancakes, and waffles. I have mixed as much as 2/3 chicken broth (fat and all) to 1/3 juice and they drink it down. So, that is a good way to get some fat, protein, and minerals in him when he might be refusing foods. I also make a puree of cooked, peeled pears, zuchinni, chicken breast cooked in soup, coconut oil, a little cinnamon, and a little honey and just call it applesauce. They eat it with no problem also. Maybe you can sneak some good food in him this way in the beginning.
