Hi Blue, this is Lu lol hey that rhymes.

My thumbnails are doing the same thing as yours. I forgot to show it to my rheumy today. Mine is just the thumbnails and it looks like I hit them with a hammer but I didn't. lol I try to avoid that kind of labor.lol Let me know what you find out please.

have developed big dents in them and my finger nails seem to

be shrinking. I've read a bunch about this too and it could be a

sign of some bad stuff. When my PCP saw my thumbs, he finally

tested me for ANAC (for Wegener's etc.) and ACE (for

Sarcoidosis etc.) Haven't talked to him since these tests came

back negative.

Isn't it strange? My nails have just about grown out now. So what

ever caused it must have happened a while back. Maybe it's just

a one time thing?

By the time I get to see a dermatologist I don't think there will be

much there to look at. I'm going to get my PCP to give me that

referral even if I have to get acne to do it!

Doc is really baffled with my case I think. There's is so much to

deal with. He seems to try to deal with one thing at a time. With

the multiple symptoms, I don't think that's possible without a lot

of waste of time.

Oh well, guess there is an answer out there somewhere! Maybe

we have been sleepwalk hitch hiking and our thumbs just got

worn out!
