Hi Everyone -

Wanted to share some great news! Last night, Ben had his first formed

stool in two years! We couldn't believe it...it actually looked

normal, and my husband saw him doing it too. Ben looked like he

didn't know what was going on, like " wow, what's going on? This isn't

supposed to be so difficult! " LOL! We were so happy that I wanted to

frame it (sorry so graphic, but we are elated!) ;-)))) He has also

been so mellow and great behavior, that it is difficult to think this

is the same child living here! He has also had a great appetite,

although he wouldn't eat the homemade applesauce I made this morning!

And it was GOOD too! Darn! I am starting him on the Stage 1 today,

with the applesauce this morning. He is only drinking though this

morning 1/2 cider and 1/2 water. Seems ok with that, although a

little cranky as I'm sure he is hungry! I cooked some carrots, and

will attempt to mix some of those into his hamburger patty at lunch.

Any other suggestions for creative ideas for Stage 1? Also, how long

do you typically wait until going to Stage 1 with the nut butters?

Atleast then I can start with some " bread type " things that will make

him *happy*!

We are keeping fingers crossed at good times ahead..... ;-))) THIS

could be the exact thing Ben has needed all along. ;-)

Thanks much -

;-)))))
