Guest guest
Jen, Maybe you should keep a food journal. Every time you eat something write down how it made you feel. You should avoid fast food. I know it is hard because I love the chicken strip basket from dairy queen. I found that I can eat ice cream and it doesn't bother me. Meal planning for the whole family is difficult because I can't make them eat what I can only eat. I fix them their meal and mine is separate. Last night we had pork chops and I bake with useing Seasoning salt for them and me I put salt and pepper and parmasean cheese. I tried this two days ago and it is delicious. I also can eat instant mashed potatoes and use skim milk. It may take a while to figure out what you can and can't but that is how I found out what I can and can't eat. Also make sure you let your doctor, pharmacy know that you have an allergy to alcohol since some cough and flu med contain alcohol. I know it isn't a real allergy but I would make sure that it is a red flag on you chart. Your husband sounds so loving and caring. These ideas are only suggestions and hope it may help a little.
