Guest guest
Hey all you guys pre and postops. I just wanted to share with you all a major milestone that I've been hoping and waiting for over ten years to finally achieve. I weigh 199 lbs., almost 70 lbs. lost in less than 3 months, from 267 lbs., originally upon my MGB surgery performed on me 7-15-00. I am so excited about this, because after weighing less than 33 lbs. before reaching 300 lbs., now I have gone backward and the best part is that I won't EVER have to worry about seeing the scales tip past 200 now. If anybody wants to know if I'd do it all over again, the answer is YES, in a heartbeat. That doesn't come easily however, without a price. I still have my days, and there are still foods that my temperamental stomach just absolutely refuses for me to eat, without getting very nauseous, especially beef and dairy products, however, most vegetables, especially salads, and remarkably, most any type of desserts, chicken and seafood, go down well for me. Another down side that I still deal with is the new bowels that unfortunately, still excrete the horrible orange greasy fatty looking substances associated from any fat previously eaten the day before. Just the same, I had rather deal with this than to have remained the way that I was, continuing to gain and become more miserable each day. I feel like the " real me " is finally emerging, and I'm just thankful that there is this type of surgery for all those like myself, and who have attempted desperately to lose weight, without success. Good luck to all. If anyone needs to contact me for further information, please do so at: dcwillinham@... I welcome you to ask me anything that may be on your mind. Kind Regards, Donna Cline
