Guest guest
Great to hear about your success! If you don't mind a couple of questions: 1. When did you have your surgery? 2. What was your starting weight? 3. What is your weight now? 4. Any complications? 5. How has your diet changed? 6. Do you exercise? If so, what and how much? Many thanks! Jon in Tuscaloosa > I am one of those who has lost 100 pounds at least two to three times and over 50 pounds about three or more in addition to that. Several of the times loosing involved diet pills, thus you go off of the pills, you gain the weight back. One of other times I had the fear of having a stroke to motivate me as my skinny, no high blood pressure ever, no previous problems 56 year old mother died of a stroke. Even that wasn't enough to scare me into keeping it off. Two other times I got pregnant and the Dr. put me on a high protein diet/low carb diet, (and this back before the recent Atkins diet was really popular.) With one of those I lost > 40-50 pounds and the other about 50-60. Interestingly enough all of those times after loosing even up to 113 pounds I still had all of the comorbidity problems I acquired over the years of yo yo dieting. But not true with the MGB! I have been off of my asthma, spastic colon, acid reflux, and fluid retention pills since the day of surgery. > > in Minnesota > Another successful MGB story to tell > > >
