Guest guest
That is the Imuran and the pred working together or against each other I should say. I was like that too. I felt like a zombie half the time. More like most of the time. Once you are down on a lower maint. dose of pred or completely off the Imuran should start settling down and you should start feeling more like a human again. I know what you are going through really I do. It was awful! I look back on it all the time and wonder how I was able to function like that. Remember I have never stopped working. I was working 40 plus hours a week and so sick and tired and I mean really tired. I didn't realized how awful I really felt until I got to feeling better. And of course I am the type of person who hasn't got time to be sick. I never miss a day of work unless I absolutely have to. Remember it takes time. I know it took longer than a year maybe even longer than two before I was back to more almost normal self. All I know is I am thankful it works and I don't want to go back to feeling that way again. Take care and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Lots of love Glenda When I was first diagnosed I was started out on lower dose of Imuran and than worked up to 150 mg a day. After things settled down I was able to taper down to 100 mg a day. Hi, Glenda!I think I'm going to talk to my Rheumy when I go in this month. I thought this extreme tiredness would go away after awhile, or at least become tolerable, but it hasn't. I have grandchildren I need to be playing with, but I just don't feel like it. I don't understand how a person can be totally exhausted all the time, yet have a difficult time sleeping. Go figure.Love,
