LOVE & HUGS, GrandmomBEV Hospitalization Hello all..Happy Holidays had a ph probe ran last week in hospital and he does not have to have a nissen. Which is absolutely wonderful news. We are going in for pre care today and in for g- tube surgery tommorrow. Hes two and a half and he did not take the probe last week well at all. We both came out of the hospital sick and the docs had promised me a room on the surgery floor but the floor was full. s docs put him on antibiotic right away he was coughing worse than I had ever heard him before. Does anyone have any tips.. parents secrets on the g-tube? Last itme with the probe would not let me touch him, read a book NOTHING...until the probe was removed. This is going to be a difficult time for me (dealing with his father, s pain etc. and any encouragement would be wonderful. We will be at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital in Chapel Hill NC. I believe on the 6 or 7th floor. You folks hear are wonderful. Thank you so very much. Guest guest
Crystal, I have not had g-tube experience, I just want to tell you I am thinking of all of you and wishing you the best fro an uneventful and quick hospitalization. You will help through this just fine. Both my kids had hernia surgeries (and others) when they were little and they recovered remarkably fast...I was the one who needed caring for! Know that many thoughts and prayers are with you! Lenora >Hello all..Happy Holidays > > had a ph probe ran last week in hospital and he does not have to >have a nissen.
