Guest guest
Well, this is from the granny of the group, I guess. I'm 55, weigh 250, and will GLADLY cross the bridge of " bloodhoundedness " when I am so fortunate to have that be my concern!! I just want my insurance to give me an answer, and then I want to go lay down for Dr. R! :-) It will be my pleasure (in a couple years) to worry about the sag and seek a plastic sculptor! Congrats to all of you who are recently approved and making your dates to dance. I eagerly await your post-op postings and have crossed fingers, legs and toes for all to go well for everyone else who, like me, is waiting for good news. This group is composed of some of the warmest people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Just thought I'd say it while I was here anyway. Hope soon to be posting my post-op news!!!!! Guest guest
Leilla, All I can say is that he told me that post-ops need to wait until they have stopped losing weight before they have any surgery. Otherwise, it messes up what could have been a beautiful result. Direct quote. He said wait at least 2 years. Kristi in AL
Guest guest
Leilla, I am 52 and weigh 336 and have been having the same blood hound thoughts, as you. So I have the same question for any one out there. I happen to love blood hounds, just don't want to look like one...hahaha Have you sent in your packet yet? Maybe we'll be littermates? Later, Trudy Strong what's a body to do? hey friends, it's me, leilla from claremont nc, with another question for a postop that has lost alot of weight...i am 44 years old, and weigh 335 lbs. what hope is there that my body won't look like a blood hound after i have surgery? (if there is no hope, it's still very cool, i happen to like blood hounds) are there many out there that have had to consider tummy tucks now that you've lost your tummy? i sent dr r an e-mail asking this question, along with a few others. he was kind enough to take the time to answer the others, but sent me to asking postops this quesion. from his photos on the site, he doesn't look like he would have a problem with a belly. thanks! leilla from claremont

Guest guest
Hi Trudy, I know I'm not old. Just old-ish in relation to this group. But I feel 30ish, and want that to continue and even improve! Life is a kick! I love it, especially the unknown of the future. I am counting on a very cool future, with love and sex and a man and success and sufficient money and no obesity! How's that for optimism? It truly is what I believe my future will hold! Life is sweet and every day a present! PhillyJude PS You'll be funny when you're thin, I feel it! :-)
