Guest guest
EILISH IS STILL UNWELL IN THE HSP. SO I DON'T THINK SHE HAD GASTRO AS SHE HASN'T VOMITED OR POOHED. I RANG THEM TODAY(I was at work so is there till tonight) AND ASKED THEM HOW SHE IS. THEY WANT TO GET A STOOL AND URINE SAMPLE. COULDN'T THEY TAKE BLOOD TO CHECK FOR VIRUSES????? I WILL RE-CHECK IN A COUPLE OF HOURS BEFORE I HAVE TO HEAD BACK THERE. JULIE
Guest guest
, they are probably looking also for bacterial overgrowth in the intestines and/or a bladder infection (possibly candidiasis), all of which are common com plications of high level anti-biotic treatment in anyone, but especiall us wcf. They have probably done enough blood tests for all of history, but are being very careful not to miss anything. Highest hopes for Eilish and all of you, n Rojas virus question > EILISH IS STILL UNWELL IN THE HSP. SO I DON'T THINK SHE HAD GASTRO AS > SHE HASN'T VOMITED OR POOHED. Guest guest
I'm sorry to hear Eilish isn't well, I hope they figure it out quickly and she is soon much better. Fingers crossed it isn't gastro!!! I guess stool and urine samples may grow bugs blood tests may miss? How frustrating for you all. Just as well I didn't pop in and see you this morning, it was far too early anyway. Took Kristy in last night as she was complaining of breathing probs again and was convinced there was something very wrong..they didn't find anything, just told her to use more ventolin as needed and contact her specialist if things continue the way they are. We got home again at 3 a.m. Couldn't believe how busy it was in emergency and now have fingers crossed we haven't picked up anything nasty either. > EILISH IS STILL UNWELL IN THE HSP. Guest guest
-Dear , i am sorry this hospital trip is taking so long , BUT they seem to be looking for all things. It appears they are covering " both ends " (hehe) & that cant be bad......Hopefully, it will uncover the problem so a solution will derive from it quickly . Bless her heart. You all will be fine as your such team players, & a supportive family. Stay on those docs, clinics, etc until Eilish is home. I am sending great thoughts out for you all LOVE & HUGS, GrandmomBEV > EILISH IS STILL UNWELL IN THE HSP. SO I DON'T THINK SHE HAD GASTRO AS > SHE HASN'T VOMITED OR POOHED. Guest guest
Barbara, Eilish was discharged around 12pm today. She is dry, virus free and well. We got home at 3.10pm. Just because your discharged at 12pm you still have to wait 2 hours for 5 bottles of med's. So that's us. I hope Kristy starts to feel better soon. Good news is 4th is all but empty. There are bad cf's in C & B side, both physically and naughtiness wise. Eilish received your card with the photo. Your girls look like you. Thank you. Guest guest
Bev, Thank you for your card, Eilish received it today. Eilish got discharged at 12pm today. She is bug and virus free and they said she could go home on 3 weeks flu cloxacillin. Great, I had my card packed in 5 minutes. She was a bit upset getting the central line out, the 4 stitches freaked her out and they were a bit stuck. But she survived. Now I have unpacked everything and don't know where to start tidying up. How much toys and craft stuff we have accumulated in 8 days. RE: Re: virus question -Dear , i am sorry this hospital trip is taking so long , BUT they seem to be looking for all things. Know all about waiting for meds, lol, two hour wait for us too last time discharged, even on clinic days there is often over an hours wait. Guest guest
I am so happy for you that she is now home .It is a big task ahead BUT , it will be great at your own home. You'll manage it just fine, I am sure. Bless that wee ones heart . What a toughy thing to go thru. It even looks ugly when they are removing that line to me too. She will be bouncing all around soon though . I pray she stays well now & Christmas will be a blast for you all LOVE & HUGS, GrandmoMBEV RE: Re: virus question -Dear , i am sorry this hospital trip is taking so long , BUT they seem to be looking for all things.
