Guest guest
Hi. You may already know this, but Dr. R used to have the requirements for approval with Blue Cross of NC listed on his website. It is probably still there, but you will have to look around his site to find it. I think that it is something that he or one of his patients got directly from Blue Cross. It may be of some help to you. You have REALLY got to read between the lines with these insurance companies and give them EXACTLY what they want. Stormy > Jennah > > We have an HMO version with BCBS. Guest guest
Jennah We have an HMO version with BCBS. Hopefully you won't have to go through all this. I think that BCBS of NC has just recently gotten so tough! I have spoken to several people that have had the MGB in the past year with BCBS and they all seemed to be approved on the first try. think Barbara at Dr. R's office said they recently changed some policies regarding WLS. Wouldn't you know it- since I really need it!!! Good luck!!
