Guest guest
I am origionally from NY and that is where I was origionally diagnosed. I move here to IA in late 1998. My GI knows that the pain I am having is my pancreatitis but I think he is perplexed as to why my levels dont go up when I have an attack. My form of pancreatitis is called Chronic sclerosing pancreatitis. The doctors tell me that it is more than likely connected to Cystic Fibrosis without being the actual disease, and that I have had it since birth and it only reared its ugly head after 28 years. this fits into the puzzle because my younger sister had CF (I say had because she passed away 4 years ago). I like my Gi doctor but I think I need someone who specializes in the pancreas.
