Guest guest
, I was unable to see Dr. Franco because he did not accecpt my insurance. Boy I boo hoo'd to Connie about that. Had my tickets and everything. I have never had any blood tests done for mycoplasma. I just took my PCP some articles on it and he was willing to work with me. I know I should have had the blood tests done, but I won't complain now, something is working. Like I've said before, I noticed it while I was having LOTS of dental work done and was on antibiotic for a while. I felt a lot better. My old dr had me on them for fibro years ago. The first time around I gave them up because I felt terrible. He told me this was normal and I thought he was crazy and I stopped them. Then I tried them again for the fibro and felt better. Then he retiree ((( and it took me ages to find anyone else who would prescribe them. I'm sure Connie can help you with the blood testing. My girlfriend did the tests through someone that Connie recommended. She tested neg. Good luck and let us know how it goes. hugs So, I need to ask you both, do you recall doing any mycoplasma blood lab work at the Arthritis Center with Dr. Franco before starting your antibiotics.....? If you did blood work, I would like to ask you, do you know which specific blood tests did Dr. Franco test you for, having RP/autoimmune symptoms? I plan to share this info with my rheumy, who seems open to to AP.
