Guest guest
Deanna, Don't know why it's always said redheads have hot tempers. I used to hate my red hair but now I absolutely love it. For several years when my current hubby and I were dating and first married and put more blonde in my hair, but I haven't colored it in years because my hubby finally convinced me he really liked my natural color the best. I have come to love the natural color, also. Besides, even if I hated the color, now that I have liver disease, I'd never take the chance of putting chemicals on my head. My hair is not a deep red. It's more of sort of a dark strawberry blonde. It's really kind of hard to describe the color. However, I now wouldn't want to trade the color for anything. I am pretty vain when it comes to my hair. In addition to being red it is naturally curly and I constantly have people (even strangers out in a store or somewhere) and comment on my hair and how pretty it is. Even when I'm in the hospital and definitely not having the best hair day, invariably one of the nurses will comment on my hair. I just tell them I got good hair genes! So, I'll just keep my red hair and all the teasing that goes with it! take care,
Guest guest
, I am now a red head and it wasn't by choice or my doing but I have to say I like it and so do many others. My natural hair colour is dark blonde. I have had it coloured many many times, in fact it became a change when I left it natural for a few years. My usual colour system was foils of natural, blonde, copper and brown. Then when I came over here I left it natural because my husband said he preferred my hair naturally. So the colours grew out. We bought a house and had been living in it for about 2 years when I noticed that my hair was getting darker and darker. I thought it might have been because I wasn't in the sun as much, as I didn't work, and being so sick so much...then up at our sis in laws one day we were talking about well water. She told me that the red iron in her well when she was younger had coloured her hair...Voila, I had my answer. I did dye my hair a few months back trying to get my natural blondness back, but it has gone an auburn colour now..but I like it and I even had one hairdresser tell me that I had the most gorgeous colour hair she had ever seen..then said I was lucky to have such a lovely natural colour *LOL*..I must have done a good job on it.. I've always loved redhair against black, green or blue clothing...now i've got it permanently *L*
