A good question.....I happen to be an MRI tech and have been for the past 10

years. The clips are made of titanium, which is not ferrous. Although even

non-ferrous staples can be affected by the magnetic flux lines of the

magnet. After the body has a chance to form scar tissue around the staples

(between 3-4 weeks)--- after that you should be fine to undergo MRI.
