Guest guest
A good question.....I happen to be an MRI tech and have been for the past 10 years. The clips are made of titanium, which is not ferrous. Although even non-ferrous staples can be affected by the magnetic flux lines of the magnet. After the body has a chance to form scar tissue around the staples (between 3-4 weeks)--- after that you should be fine to undergo MRI. fg >Message: 22 > Date: Tue, 05 Sep 2000 20:03:43 -0000 > >Subject: GIA stapler > >One more question for the post oppers.
