Guest guest
Hey everyone, Jodie had her third surgery on Tuesday from 5 to 10 p.m. to remove the infectious fluid and dead tissue from behind/around her kidneys. They are irrigating each area with a saline/ betadine solution to keep any infection from returning. She has two new incisions on each of her sides that are more or less horizontal, slightly higher in the back and lower in the front, following the natural crease between her butt and back. She has been on ample pain meds and remains intubated from surgery. Hopefully within the next day or two she will be able to be extubated, when she isn't so constantly drowsy from the pain meds and is able to breathe effectively when she is asleep. We have become quite patient in waiting for Jodie to recover and be back to normal. Aah, the true meaning of the word 'patient' becomes so clear... For those who still don't have the address, here it is again: Jodie Virago, M/S ICU, Room 20, St. ph Medical Center, 7601 Osler Dr., Towson, MD 21204. Thank you for your continued support and caring. peace, melissa -- ___________________________________________________________ Sign-up for Ads Free at Mail.com http://promo.mail.com/adsfreejump.htm
