Eggs and Intro Diet

Hi all, How many eggs are appropriate in a day for the intro diet? I'm trying

not to worry about eggs and cholesterol, but I am concerned about eating more

than one a day, as is the general recommendation for people with normal

cholesterol.

What I mean is, the intro diet says eggs for breakfast (along with the dccc

mixed with a little yogurt). Plus the cheesecake is made with eggs. I can't

tolerate the jello or the beef patty, so I figure I will be pretty hungry and

one egg won't be enough (especially if I need to stay on the intro for at least

a few days - maybe a bit longer too).

Thanks everyone,

Lora

Elaine said 3-4 eggs/day is okay and that was for the regular SCD.

You should only be on the intro diet for 2-5 days maximum 4-5 for

active diarrhea and 2-3 for everything else.

Thanks so much Sheila, I guess I missed reading that info somehow. Good to

know.

Thanks again,
