Guest guest Posted August 3, 2002 Report Share Posted August 3, 2002 Marilyn, I am sorry to hear about your mom's problem -if you had to watch someone you loved struggling with that it would affect the way you feel. However, I am sure, knowing what you know you are NOT going to get addicted. I have to admit I don't like taking pain killers with codeine because it zonks me out AND makes me constipated!! This is something I try and avoid at all costs. Codeine is one of the addictive ones of course. The pulled muscle is still horrible. Yes, I am a great believer in ice and heat - I am still applying it fairly regularly. I woke up someone in the next room when I yelled out in pain last night!! Oh, well, hopefully this too will pass.
